CLUB NIX 159: The Records You Keep Coming Back To

Everyone has them. Books you read more than once. Films you've seen five times. Friends you've known for decades.
Not because they're new. Because they're reliable.
Music works the same way.
As a DJ, I'm always searching for new tracks, new artists and new sounds. That's part of the excitement. But every now and then, a record comes along that stays with you. Not because it's the biggest track in your collection. Not because it's topping the charts. Simply because you trust it.
For me, Ode To The Night by Tom Zeta is one of those records.
I've played it in different clubs, for different crowds and in completely different situations. Every time, something similar happens. The energy shifts. Not dramatically. Not instantly. But noticeably.
People stop looking around and start getting lost in the music. The room settles. The groove deepens. The dancefloor finds its rhythm.
It's difficult to explain. And maybe that's exactly why music remains so powerful.

We live in a culture that constantly pushes us towards the next thing. The next trend. The next release. The next big moment.
But some things earn their place over time.
The records you keep returning to usually aren't the loudest. They're the ones that continue to reveal something new with every listen.
CLUB NIX 159 is built around that philosophy.
Rather than chasing peak moments, this mix focuses on atmosphere, groove and tension. The kind of music that slowly pulls you in and keeps you there. Music that doesn't need to shout. Music that knows exactly what it wants to do.
Throughout this episode, artists like Dom Dolla, Tiga, Korolova, Miss Monique, Serge Devant, Chris Lorenzo and Armin van Buuren each bring something different to the journey.
Some tracks add movement. Some add emotion. Some add pressure. Together they create the kind of flow that feels natural rather than forced. The kind of set that works just as well on a packed dancefloor as it does during a late-night drive home.
Because great electronic music isn't always about the biggest reaction. Sometimes it's about creating a feeling that stays with you long after the music stops.

CLUB NIX is a podcast, community and event series built around a simple belief: great electronic music never gets old. Not because of nostalgia, but because great music continues to connect people.
Every episode is curated for those who still love discovering records, sharing dancefloors and getting lost in the journey.
For the dancers. For the diggers. Nothing else.
