CLUB NIX 165: Sometimes You Need A Different Point Of View

The older I get, the less interested I become in certainty. When you're young, everything feels simple. Things are either good or bad. Right or wrong. Black or white.

Then life happens.

You meet different people. You travel. You make mistakes. You discover that most things depend on perspective.

Music works the same way.

A track that does nothing for you today might become your favourite record six months from now. A song you overlooked suddenly makes perfect sense. The right record at the wrong moment is still the wrong record. The right record at the right moment can change your entire day.

CLUB NIX 165 is built around that idea.

Not around big moments or dramatic drops. Around discovery. Around the feeling of hearing something from a different angle and finding something you hadn't noticed before.

The journey begins with HotLap, JUNO (DE), Samm and Adam Ten before gradually unfolding through Double Touch, Ezequiel Arias, Makebo, DAVI and Londonground. The music moves with patience, allowing every track to find its place within the bigger story.

Nothing is rushed.

Nothing is forced.

The best journeys rarely are.

Music Changes. So Do We.

One of the reasons I still love discovering electronic music is that it continues to surprise me.

Not because the music changes.

Because we do.

The records that resonate most often arrive when we're ready to hear them.

Maybe that's why certain track titles in this mix stood out to me.

I See U.

I Never Knew.

I Know My Name.

Point Of View.

Self.

Taken together, they almost feel like chapters from the same story.

A reminder that perspective shapes everything.

Including the music we love.

More Than A Playlist

Artists like Adam Ten, Double Touch, Makebo, Ezequiel Arias, DAVI and Rex The Dog each bring their own sound to this episode, but they share something in common.

They understand that great electronic music doesn't need to shout.

It doesn't need to constantly demand attention.

Sometimes all it needs is the space to unfold.

That's what CLUB NIX has always been about.

Not chasing trends.

Not chasing algorithms.

Simply finding records that are worth spending time with.
